The lyrics to Jackpot is below:

VERSE 1:
Feeling like I made it to the top... top
Haters waiting for me just to drop
But I ain't dropping cos I'm chilling with the Most High
Only thing dropping is my jamz, go and cop that

Uhh... I don't get it,
I don't get it why they don't get it
That I done made it. Yeah I made it.
Since I let Him in, homie don't you get it?

That I'm past that (what’s that?)
It's like a life hack, mehn I passed death (that’s right).
Cleared up all my debt, I don't owe that (no debt).
Now I'm BLOODY rich, I didn't work that!

Sitting on a goldmine,
Oh my, yeah now the gold's mine.
I don't mean money; I may never have a million
But homie what I got is more than a million.

CHORUS:
Since the day I met Christ, mehn I hit a jackpot!
He gave me His Spirit now He's living in me, mehn I hit a jackpot!
I got Eternal Life working in me nwanne, mehn I hit a jackpot!
Ogbeni this Life no dey ever end joor, mehn I hit a jackpot!

VERSE 2:
Listen up mehn, I got treasures,
Never running down, I can never go broke.
Son of a King, homie I'm a Royalty.
Ruling with my Dad, homie it's a Dynasty.

What that really means is that,
I'm one with the King, homie don't you get that?
He promised He will never leave me, He will keep that.
Mehn, our bond so strong, you can never break that!

I used to do dirt,
Then He cleaned me up, I don't do that (preach boy!).
Shining in the dark like a StreetLight (invading)
He gave me His name, so I stand right.

Now I got authority over empires.
We gone bring 'em all down, homie it's a takeover.
This Empire never going down, we don't retire
Cos we reign forever!

INTERLUDE:
I don't really get it, why they don't get it.
I tell 'em that I made it but they really don't get it.
So I gotta go a little deeper just to explain it.
You may have to listen clearly otherwise you won't get it.

I hear you talking, feeling like a made man,
But you don't understand you never had it made man.
So when you talk about the money, all I feel is sorry.
Money ain't evil, but to trust in it is funny.

All you care about is just the money
And it controls your whole life like a dummy.
You so blind, you can't see that it owns you.
Now you a slave to the things that should serve you.

VERSE 3 (LONG VERSE):
You can't see that it's running you,
However it wants to.
Boy you on a ride, feeling so high
Like you about to hit the sky, and the feeling is so right.

Yeah, I see you smoking weed. Feels like Heaven.
You sipping up that syrup. Feeling so amazing.
Girls all around, popping bottles all night.
Money never been a problem, but you never see the Light.

You never see the Light cos you living in the dark.
When the party is over, you can't sleep in the dark.
Running round in circles, feeling empty like a mess.
Cos you're never satisfied, boy you're feeling so depressed!

You're feeling so depressed, boy you can't lie!
Even though you act like you're enjoying this life.
Mehn I've been there before, it ain't no life.
Living empty, feeling big, but living a lie!

Till I let Him in and He made me different.
Sorry, I mean BRAND NEW, that's why I'm living different.
Pulled me out the dark to the Light, my Redemption.
Now my vision so clear, I got a new perception.

Focus on Christ gave me life, homie Jackpot!
And boy it's easy, you can hit it too, Jackpot!
It's not about a bunch of rules you must keep
Jesus did it all for you. Let Him in, He'll keep you!

Even if you messed up, He won't throw you away (that’s right).
He will pick you up and strengthen you by His Grace.
Cos when you're living in Christ, there's never condemnation.
I'm eternally grateful, got Eternal Salvation!

POST | NYSC: A Waste Of Time And A Scam?

NYSC: A WASTE OF TIME AND A SCAM?

Is NYSC really a waste of time? Is NYSC a SCAM? Before I answer this, let me make it clear first of all that NYSC being a waste of time or not is RELATIVE, and it's totally dependent on you. What exactly do I mean? Simple. You alone can decide for yourself if NYSC is (or will be) a waste of time for you, or a scam. There is no ABSOLUTE answer to this question.

So I just concluded my NYSC 2 weeks ago. Few years back, I was of the opinion that NYSC was just a sheer waste of valuable time that can be invested into something more beneficial. I had my reasons though, and one of them was because age wasn't on my side. I've had really rough times in my life that kinda resulted in wasted years, but I don't see them as wasted years anymore. That aside. So NYSC really didn't make any sense to me because I had dreams I was eager to pursue and I wasn't ready to let no NYSC waste another year of my life, delaying my dreams. But you know, opinions change. Mine did, and I'm GLAD it did.

My service year was really amazing! I served in Ibeno L.G.A in Akwa-Ibom State. I experienced a new culture, new people, new mindsets and ideologies. I got to also meet awesome people from around the nation, ESPECIALLY Believers in Christ, made meaningful connections, established special bonds with a few, and yes, I did MINISTRY. Let me also add that I was highly favoured (especially financially) throughout my stay in Akwa-Ibom. Had a few challenging times, I even got duped by someone who should be a brother, and I let it go just like that (so unlike me), but I never lacked. I had enough to help others. I was actually earning more than twice the amount of the NYSC allawee, and it's because I learnt to stretch myself during my NYSC year. It wasn't easy, it was really tough but well, I was enjoying the benefits. 😎

The motto of NYSC is SERVICE & HUMILITY. Funny enough, this should be the mantra of every (aspiring) leader. You can't lead without serving, and serving requires being humble. I guess it's safe to say NYSC is intended to build leaders, but you can't be built up by the scheme if you don't see it that way. In my own little capacity, I can say I SERVED in all HUMILITY. I discovered problems in the community where I served, especially in education/career choice, and I did my best to provide solutions. I educated and encouraged a few students on a personal level, not as their Mathematics teacher but as their big brother. I also shared a few of my failures with them so they don't make the same mistakes I made at their age.

I didn't understand the impact I made on these kids until I announced to them that I was finally leaving because I was done with NYSC. They got all emotional and didn't want me to leave. Some couldn't hold back their tears. We took a lot of pictures and selfies that day. During my NYSC, I counselled some, ministered the gospel to some, and inspired some. And I'm glad to say I saw results (even in their Mathematics), though not as much as I expected. But there was definitely much improvement.

As difficult as it was for me (because of my side hustles) I still tried to learn and do some things towards my music career. And the result was my latest single, iFocus, mixed and mastered by me. I know my music production skills have improved, but I still got work to do. I learnt to appreciate time and hard work. I also learned to manage people because I was the President of my CDS group. I learnt how to survive in a strange land and adapt effortlessly in very little time. I learnt how to mind my business and live a quiet responsible and independent life. I learnt to trust, love and give more. I learnt to take well calculated risks to get what I wanted, and I'm really GLAD I did! So many things I learnt and gained during my NYSC year, I can't put it all here.

So is NYSC really a waste of time and a scam? Obviously, my NYSC year wasn't a waste of time. I utilized every bit of my time very well in Akwa-Ibom State, right from the time I entered NYSC Camp. Or let me put it this way; I DID NOT WASTE MY TIME DURING MY NYSC. I left my indelible mark in the lives of people in SERVICE & HUMILITY. I did all that on PURPOSE because I had it all PLANNED OUT before NYSC.

But if you think NYSC is a waste of time and a scam, I will also agree with you, because it means you wasted your time during NYSC and scammed yourself, or for those yet to do NYSC, you unconsciously plan to waste your time and scam yourself. It's dependent on you. You alone can decide if NYSC is (or will be) a waste of time and a scam. You can plan ahead and use your time meaningfully during NYSC, or you just go ahead and waste your time during NYSC. Your choice. I made my choice, and I didn't waste my time. So NYSC wasn't actually a waste of time or a scam for me. It was valuable time invested that was highly beneficial. I'm grateful for the opportunities NYSC granted me.

#BaeSeries | Sexual Attraction

SEXUAL ATTRACTION.

No matter how SPIRITUAL you are, if you can be HONEST without any iota of PRETENCE, you'll agree with me that the FIRST POINT of attraction between two people of the opposite sex is actually SEXUAL ATTRACTION. Let me say it again; the first attraction between a man and a woman who like each other is SEXUAL ATTRACTION. No you didn't hear me. I said the first attraction you felt before you approached your spouse or bae was SEXUAL ATTRACTION! This is an INDISPUTABLE FACT!

As Christians in a relationship or hoping to enter a relationship, we already know what is expected of us when it comes to our conduct in the relationship. The most important of all is NO SEX UNTIL MARRIAGE, and it's not up for debate. But then, the attraction between you and Bae is actually SEXUAL ATTRACTION. You still don't agree? Okay. Dear brother in Christ, the first time you saw that beautiful sister in Christ that you liked and decided to approach her for a relationship, was it her spirit that FIRST attracted you to her? Was it her sound doctrine? Her prayer life? Brothers in Christ, let's not deceive ourselves mbọk. 😏

You saw "good things" that popped your eyes open; pretty face, nice shape and curves, big bum, big boobs, etc. Amen? I hope I'm communicating. So this sister in Christ appealed to you sexually, then you decided to investigate other aspects of her life, especially spiritually. But the blunt truth is that she FIRST appealed to you sexually. It's actually a good thing, God made it that way. The problem is when we try to mask our faces under religion and act "over spiritual"  like we don't notice these things. The problem is when you don't admit that you feel sexually attracted to this lady and vice versa.

Many religious, super spiritual folks have gotten themselves into trouble because they have refused to be real with themselves and about their sexuality. They have denied their sexuality which has led them into a lot of sexual mess. They don't realize the importance of understanding themselves, their body and their sexuality. A spiritual brother in Christ is in a relationship with a spiritual sister in Christ, yet when they are together, he tries so hard to pretend like he's doing okay "down there" when in reality he is highly "agitated". Such people, when they are given just a little test end up failing woefully…like WOEFULLY! So who pretending done epp? Well, not me and I can't even pretend about real stuff as this. People who know me well know this. I'm too real like that o.

Sexual attraction is a good thing. In fact, let me give you a KEY ADVICE: If you have a Bae you don't feel sexually attracted to, you better end that relationship o. If you don't want to end it, PLEASE don't get married o! I repeat, DON'T GET MARRIED TO SOMEONE YOU AREN'T SEXUALLY ATTRACTED TO! This is actually one of the major problems leading to extra-marital affairs. Realize that the one you choose to marry will be your sex partner for life! And if you don't feel sexually attracted to your sex partner, why do you even call them sex partner? Why are you with them? Brothers in Christ, listen! If you are with Bae, and you feel "strengthened in your outer man", it is a good thing. In fact it is healthy! I'm even tempted to say it is spiritual 😂. There is absolutely nothing wrong getting hard when you are with Bae. In fact, if you don't feel hard, it's a problem. It's either you don't find her sexually attractive (which is unhealthy), or you have a medical condition affecting your sexuality (which is also unhealthy). Bottom line is that it is UNHEALTHY. Don't get into a relationship with someone you have no sexual attraction for. It is unhealthy. Just stay friends.

Now to the crucial matter. Since as Believers in Christ, sexual involvement isn't part of our premarital romantic relationships, and we must also be in a relationship with someone we are sexually attracted to, how then do we deal with the sexual pressure and tension in our relationship? The answer is simple: BOUNDARIES! Set sexual boundaries early on in the relationship. In fact, this should be the first thing to be discussed and established at the beginning of the relationship. So how do we set boundaries? What are the rules? Are there hard-and-fast rules to establishing boundaries? I don't believe there are hard-and-fast rules, except the general rule that there will be NO SEXUAL INVOLVEMENT UNTIL MARRIAGE! But boundaries MUST be set!

Sexual boundaries vary in relationships, and the kind of boundaries employed is dependent on the individuals involved in the relationship. Each partner needs to be brutally honest about their weaknesses to determine the necessary boundaries suitable for them. You must first know yourself and understand yourself, your body, and your sexuality. Different people vary in their responses to different situations. Like I said earlier, I don't believe there are hard-and-fast rules, so I won't give any rules. I can only help you determine which boundaries are best efficient for you based on your BRUTALLY HONEST assessment of yourself, your body and your sexuality.

For example, some people have a really hard time keeping their hands to themselves when they are with their Bae in private. In such situation, these people easily give in to sexual pressure. The boundaries they need is to ALWAYS avoid meeting in private, or at least involve a third or even forth party if they must meet in private. For some others, they have no problem at all conducting themselves well with their Bae in private. For some folks, holding each other or cuddling can lead to doing some inappropriate stuff, but some others are very comfortable with it and still behave themselves very well while at it. Different strokes for different folks. One man's food is another man's poison, and one man's poison can actually be another man's medicine. The most important thing is to know yourself, understand your body, your sexuality and be brutally honest with yourself about your objective assessment of yourself.

Sexual attraction is awesome and necessary even in premarital relationships. It helps in bonding emotionally and physically (with the necessary boundaries of course). As long as you keep Christ at the centre of the relationship, you both won't lose focus. It will be easier handling sexual pressures if the two partners resolve in their minds to always honour God with their body and their relationship. Of course it's not by human strength but by God’s Hyper Grace (Hyper Power) at work in them both. And hopefully the relationship will eventually lead to marriage and they both will enjoy sexual fulfillment because they are sexually attracted to each other, and will remain addicted to each other after being sexually involved. This is God's will for us. He cares about our sexual enjoyment after all. I mean, isn't He just a good God! GLORY TO GOD! 😀

Do have an amazing Valentine's Day ahead of you. Show genuine love to ALL. Let love be your lifestyle, just as you have received the love of Christ.

The lyrics to iFocus is below:

VERSE 1:
So much going up in my head
It's so heavy I just wanna drop dead!
But now I gotta let it, drop it off
Cos it's so depressing when these voices try to drown me out!

Welcome to my real life, mehn it's so hard, mehn it's so dark
I've been pushed back, I've been knocked down, for real mehn I just feel wack!
Looking back at the lost time, I feel like I'm a real waste!
The odds against me like I'm hooked on failure, I feel like I'm a real mess!

Mehn I swear, I've been drowning under pressure
Losing focus when I worry, now I done dey feel the tension.
My future looking blurry and I'm giving in to doubt
I'm sinking deeper in depression looking for a way out!

E no easy, mehn I swear e no easy!
When the ones that claim to love you break your heart and leave you bleeding!
The worst feeling, mehn it's crazy being Dikky.
In the midst of all these challenges, I feel I hear a voice saying...!

Bridge:

Hey! But these are just clever distractions!
To make you quit by controlling your reaction!

So now I know better
Focus on Christ so I see clearer
Even when challenges get tougher
Focus on Christ my burden bearer!
Hook:

So much going on my mind lately
These voices say that I will never make it
Haaa...They try to drive me crazy!
But I gotta prove 'em wrong so I'mma
Focus, focus on The One who gives me focus
Bring it on but you can never sway me!
Naaa... This pressure cannot break me!
Because I focus, I focus!
VERSE 2:

Snap out of it Dikky! Enough with all of that nonsense!
Enough with all of that bullcrap! You done been down for a long time!
I know they hoping I fail, I know they hoping I fall.
No matter what happens, my mantra, KEEP MOVING FORWARD!
That's my password, I dey pass the test with my focus!
Breaking up with depression, aiming high so I rise up!
Building strength in adversity, and them challenges are for a season
My glory days are not far, I'm in this process for a reason!
Who be the guy wey dey talk say I no go make am cos I no dey do my music like them?
Who be the guy wey dey talk, say my music career na waste of time?
Who be the guy wey dey talk say me no get hope for life, my wahala plenty?
You must be kidding me, now that I'm living it. Feeling so free as I'm chasing my dreams!
You can feel my sound now, cos I'm walking on water
I'm never drowning, cos I got my focus right (focusrite)!
I'm unperturbed mehn, cos He made me tough and I got that Strength
And I got that Life, when the pressure mounts, I say...!

Bridge:

#BaeSeries | When Loving Seems Difficult

WHEN LOVING SEEMS DIFFICULT

Before anything else, it is important that we first lay a foundational understanding of what love is and what it is not. Let's kick this off by understanding the latter:

What love is not

Love is not a feeling. It's not an emotion (though it can ignite emotions). It is definitely not sex, so we can as well stop calling sex "lovemaking" since it has nothing to do with love. It is also not butterflies in your stomach, and love is definitely not blind. Love sees clearly.

So what then is love?

It's simple. Love is simply a DECISION. It is a COMMITMENT. It is deciding to love regardless of how you feel and what you see (the good, the bad, the ugly and the crazy). If loving is based on how we feel, then it won't be love. Love is a COMMAND (John 13:34), and we are to love just as Christ loved us. Even while we were still sinners, God loved us and gave up His Son Jesus Christ for us (Romans 5:18, John 3:16). So loving isn't based on how we feel, it is a command, a decision, a commitment, and above all, loving is more of an ACT (with the right ATTITUDE) than it is of words (1 John 3:18).

Now we have understood what love is (and is not), how then do we apply it to our relationships/marriages?

The truth is, you will not always feel like loving your partner, but we have already established that love isn't based on our feelings or emotions. Real love is tested for it's genuineness when the circumstances surrounding your choice to love isn't favourable. In spite of your partner, you must continue to love them. You are emotionally vulnerable to them, which makes it easy for them to annoy you, hurt you, drive you crazy and instigate other negative emotions in you, but that shouldn't change your love for them. In fact, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 actually summarizes the attributes of LOVE: Love is patient, kind, not jealous, not boastful or proud or rude, doesn't demand its own way (not selfish), not irritable or easily provoked, doesn't keep record of wrongs, doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness and injustice, it never gives up, never loses faith, always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.

Loving isn't easy, but it becomes easy when we have been divinely enabled to love by the author of love Himself. One who isn't born again does not have the love of God in his heart, and it is impossible for such to love just as Christ loved us…and still loves us. The carnal man loves based on his feelings (especially from the information his 5 senses receive), and love based on feelings isn't love but LUST. But the Spiritual man loves because he has the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Love. The Holy Spirit enables him to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, which is LOVE (Galatians 5:22-23). The characteristics of the fruit of the Spirit of Love are; joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. They are very similar to the ones mentioned in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

As much as we are required to love our partners regardless of their flaws, there are situations where we need to apply godly wisdom to balance this, if not, we will be hurting ourselves even more. This applies especially to people who are yet to be married: As a Believer, you have NO BUSINESS being in a romantic relationship with someone who isn't born again. God FORBIDS us to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14-17), no matter how nice they are, because niceness is not a fruit of the Spirit. Such people can't love like Christ, and loving such people without even being in a romantic relationship with them requires divine enablement by the Spirit of God. So dating them shouldn't even be an option, or else you will keep loving them and getting hurt in return (Matthew 7:6). You can't invest your love in a relationship with someone who has no real relationship with God, even if they claim to be born again but still have no fruit as proof. If you do, you'll only hurt yourself at the end. So when making a decision on who to date, with hopes of getting married in the future, apply godly wisdom, because Wisdom is profitable to direct (Ecclesiastes 10:10). And such wisdom can ONLY come from a real relationship with God through His Word and prayer.

Finally, no one is perfect. Being in a romantic relationship with a genuine Believer doesn't mean they may not hurt you, especially in marriage. But love conquers all. When loving seems difficult, talk to God about it, but let it not affect your own level of commitment to love. In fact, that's even the best time to increase the dose of your love, because love truly conquers all. And in situations of conflict, always try to initiate an open and honest conversation with your partner IN A LOVING MANNER. Share your heart with them, tell them EXACTLY how you feel about their words, actions or attitude towards you. Relationships require A LOT of dialogue, you MUST keep talking. Once the communication is suffering, the relationship is suffering. Don't be quick to break up with your partner. Do all you can (the godly way) to salvage your relationship. And for the married folks, we already know that divorce is not an option. Save and protect your marriage, don't give the devil a foothold in your marriage. If things aren't working out well, seek professional and spiritual counselling. You know love feels sweeter and stronger after a reconciliation.

So don't forget, LOVE IS NOT A FEELING, it's not based on emotions, even though it ignites emotions. LOVE IS a DECISION, a COMMITMENT. And God remains the centre of that love because He is the author of Love. A romantic godly relationship is actually a threesome; it involves YOU, YOUR PARTNER, and GOD (LOVE) at the centre being the BOND. A threefold cord is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12).

POST | 5 Areas You Must Strive To Grow In 2018

5 AREAS YOU MUST STRIVE TO GROW IN 2018

I have a habit of letting my mind roam in the morning, what you might call meditation. That was the state of my mind this morning while relaxing after my early morning workout routine. It's a new year and I believe we all have plans for 2018. If you don't, I do! That explains the reason why my mind was hovering around personal development and growth this morning. I decided to share some insights as a mere post on social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), but I felt "heck, why don't you just put it up as a blog post instead?" I mean, it's been a while I wrote on my blog, and it won't be a bad idea to make this particular post my first blog post for the year 2018. I should use my blog more often this year though.

So here are five key areas we should strive for growth in 2018, because I believe PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT is the FOUNDATION for SOCIETAL DEVELOPMENT:

1. SPIRITUAL GROWTH:

This should be self explanatory, and it remains PRIMARY (of utmost importance). Strengthen your relationship with God. Study more, pray more, and reach out to people more. Also read some sound Christian literature and listen to a lot of sound teaching messages. Don't neglect the gathering of Believers, especially the close friends you roll with. Keep a company of Believers as close friends. Find a place that teaches the Word, practices the Word, and flows in the things of the Spirit and stay committed there. Be an active member of the Church (The Body of Christ). Most importantly, as you learn sound doctrine, let it also reflect in your conduct. Make no excuses for your sins. Grace has already been made available for you to deal with it. Keep your FOCUS ON CHRIST and you'll UNLEARN, RELEARN and LEARN a whole lot that will make you a better Christian this year. And if you are yet to accept Christ, Nigga watchu waiting for?? Get into LIFE and start living!

2. MENTAL GROWTH:

Open your mind! Keep it really open and fill it up with knowledge. Read up articles and books on various topics and subjects (not related to Christianity/religion). I'm not talking fiction, novels, fairytale, etc. They have their place, but I'm talking about books that help develop your mind, your thinking, and your general outlook towards life. If I should recommend, I'll say read about Personal Health, Leadership, Relationship/Marriage, Philosophy, Sex, Parenting, History, Politics, Psychology, Business and Technology. You can only stay relevant if your mind feeds on relevant information. Also play some games that TASK YOUR BRAIN. It may be chess, scrabble, puzzles, sudoku (I love this one), etc...as long as it ACTIVELY involves your mind. They help sharpen your mind, improve brain power, and make you smarter.

3. EMOTIONAL GROWTH:

You MUST learn how to be in charge of your emotions, or they'll dictate your every actions/decisions. Learn self control, anger management, patience, humility, loyalty, etc. Also learn how to relate differently with different people at different times. You must improve your EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE. Learn how to love, trust, respect and value people. Become a better spouse in your marriage, a better parent to your kids, a better partner in your relationship, a better leader to your followers, a better staff in your work place, a better employer to your employees and a better friend to your friends. And most importantly, learn how to please people without displeasing yourself, breaking your principles, or even defiling your conscience. Learn to CONSCIOUSLY GUARD YOUR HEART so you don't end up being an EMOTIONAL WRECK.

4. PHYSICAL GROWTH:

This is something you MUST do this year. Hit the gym! Gotta keep the blood flowing. And no, it's not only for people who want to lose weight, so NO EXCUSES! It's about keeping the body fit! Treat your body right. Eat healthy and work out that gorgeous body of yours! Do some push-ups, sit-ups, jogging, and if you can, push/lift some weights! Physical exercise also helps your mental alertness, you'll feel less tired, less stressed out and always bubbling with life and vitality. And yes, it will also help you stay young. And for my married folks, it will greatly improve your sexual relationship with your spouse! Please don't ask me how I know. Just take my advice.

5. INNOVATIONAL GROWTH:

You must learn to break new grounds. Improve your CREATIVITY! Come up with NEW IDEAS. Do something new, or do something old in a new way. Be innovative in your various fields and careers. Outdo yourself, reinvent yourself, break your own records, never relax in past glories. KEEP MOVING FORWARD! Be uncomfortable with the status quo. Improve your skills, improve your art. Be DIFFERENT, be YOU, and DO YOU! Rebrand yourself! Don't get stuck in the rut! When you keep doing things (you are very passionate about) the same way all day everyday, boredom is inevitable. Spice up your life and work. Get PRODUCTIVE and CREATIVE!

I believe strongly that if we can create a plan to improve in these five areas and diligently follow through with it, we'll definitely have an amazing year and years ahead of us. 2018 is just beginning, it's not too early to start working towards achieving the goals we have set. Soon we'll wake up and realize 2018 is almost winding up. The clock has already started moving and it ain't waiting for no one. But you can choose to be ahead of time. It all depends on you, not God. He has already given you ALL that you need for life. Take advantage and GET TO WORK. 2018 is already a GREAT YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, and do have a MIND BLOWING 2018!

CIA EXCLUSIVE | Dikky - TID > @Dikky_CIA @Ciaclique1

MUSIC: Dikky - TID (With Lyrics)

Onyedika Nwoji, with stage name DIKKY, is a Hip Hop Artist and Producer, and also a founding member of CIA Empire Entertainment in Nigeria. He is back with a brand new single, TID.

TID is an acronym for THIS IS DIKKY.

On this Hip Hop song with a beat that would leave you involuntarily bumping your head to it, Dikky briefly talks about himself, more like a biography. He talks about growing up and how he started out his music career, and artists that inspired him. He also makes it clear what he stands for, his unashamed faith in Christ, and how he chooses to use his music which may not necessarily appeal to the average Christian. He chooses to express himself freely through music by keeping it real. So this is Dikky, meet the real him.

The song was written, produced, mixed and mastered by Dikky. Indeed, THIS IS DIKKY!

Twitter/IG: @Dikky_CIA, @Ciaclique1

The lyrics to TID is below:

VERSE 1:
I'm that first son, first child out of 4 kids.
Got a sister, and she's coming after me on the list.
Nwoke Nise, that Awka boy repping Lasgidi.
See me grinding with my homies as we riding through your city.

Ezigbo afam bu Onyedika Nwoji.
Devil wept, March 16 1990.
Grew up never loving hip hop until I was 13.
10 years later, omo see me doing big things!

Started with my first wack rhymes at 15.
Then I got better, wrote my first song, 17.
I started making hot beats at 18,
But Jesus come catch me inside that 18!
Grew up loving Eminem, 50 Cent, 2Pac,
DMX, Ludadris, T.I on my CD rack.
Made me wanna hear myself through the speakers.
Now my music stuck in your ears like stickers!

HOOK:
Who be that guy?
No be that bad sharp guy, wey dey rap die.
Chai, guy. You think you know me?
You no know me!
Oya chill, come and get to know me

Now, this is Dikky, nwanne meet the real me,
This is Dikky, nwanne meet the real me!
This is Dikky, nwanne meet the real me.
Nwanne meet the real me, this is Dikky!

VERSE 2:
A lot of people think they know me,
But a misconception is what they got about me.
I hear a lot of stuff that they say about me.
Let me clear the air so that you can get to know me.

First, I'm an UNASHAMED CHRISTIAN to the fullest.
I'm repping CIA cause na Jesus be the surest.
So all of una wey dey wait make I cool down,
You go wait, grow methu, until Jesus come down.

And yes, I'm a Christian but not religious.
So in my music, don't expect to always hear Jesus,
Cause I got a lot of more stuff you can hear too.
This is me, see through, so I keep it real dude.

I got a lot to address and express through my music.
So don't get it twisted, this is how I use it.
Just a little piece of who the kid is.
32 can't give you all the details.

POST | Stop Looking At Where You Came From!

STOP LOOKING AT WHERE YOU CAME FROM!

“...we were made in His image, stop looking at where you came from!” —Lecrae (Man Up Anthem).

God made man in His image and likeness, but He formed man out of the earth, from the ground, the dust, the dirt, the mess...you get the picture?

We've all been through some negativities in life; things that were unfavourable, painful, messy, and even life threatening. We've all at one point or the other been hit hard by life, knocking us down into hopeless situations, leaving us feeling helpless. It may all seem unfair and unnecessary, but not with God...He makes a purpose out of EVERYTHING we've been through.

“2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.”

“Romans 8:28 (NLT) And we know that God causes EVERYTHING to work together FOR THE GOOD of those who LOVE GOD and are called according to HIS PURPOSE for them.”

For every pain we go through in life, there is a purpose. But we may NEVER realize that purpose if we respond with the wrong attitude. One of which is having a victims mentality. That is a defeated mindset. If we keep focusing on the pain, we never get past the pain and allow God use it for our good, to make us better according to His purpose for us. The right attitude allows the pain to make us BETTER and not BITTER.

As I look at my own personal life, I've been through a whole lot, still going through a lot currently, and will still go through some more in the future. I've been through tough times, challenges, rejection, pain, hate, hurt, failures, trials, temptations, depression, loss, attacks, traducement, life threatening situations,...just name it. Looking back at my life now, I laugh at most of them because I see how they all played a part in making me become the person I am today. I can really laugh hard and make fun of it now, but then, trust me, it wasn't funny at all! I won't say more than that. But God uses bad stuff to make something good out of us, we just have to let go and let God!

“James 1:2-4 (NLT) Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”

Like me, many of us have been though a lot and even more. I get it. Some have been through the hurt, pain, rejection, loss, depression, abuse, failures, addictions, messy situations, life threatening situations, broken homes, and every unimaginable negativity. It can be really tough dealing with the aftermath, but doing so WITHOUT GOD could drain you of life...literally. God indeed has a purpose for our pain, and it is to make us better and not bitter. But we have to ALLOW Him use the NEGATIVE to DEVELOP us more and more into His IMAGE...get the PICTURE?

I once watched Joyce Meyer talk about the sexual abuse she went through for years as a teenager in the hands of her father. She said sometimes when she thinks about all the messy situations she went through and the abuse, she thanks God for allowing her go through all that mess, because she's so sure if all that didn't happen to her, she wouldn't be the Joyce Meyer we all know today who has been a blessing to millions...including me. That's deep right? God comforts us in times of trouble and pain, and He expects us to comfort and help others going through the same situation we've been through. He didn't make us survivors to become victims. He made us SURVIVORS to become SAVIOURS!

“2 Corinthians 1:3-6 (NLT) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer.”

All that we've been through wasn't designed to break us, but to STRENGTHEN us. But without allowing God work in us through all that mess, we end up with BROKEN LIVES. So STOP focusing on the past. KEEP MOVING FORWARD! God specializes in making something out of nothing. If He formed man out of the dirt into His own image, then He can use all the negative stuff we've been through in life to make us who He wants us to be according to His purpose for us. His plan for us remains of good and not of evil, to bring us to where He wants us to be, full of joy. Regardless of what we've been through or what we are going through right now, GOD IS STILL WITH US AND YES, HE IS STILL WORKING!

With God, we can ALWAYS find a purpose in our pain. He uses our pain to make something good out of us in order to be a blessing to people around us...ask Joseph. So end all that pity party and STOP LOOKING AT WHERE YOU CAME FROM!

POST | Jesus Paid For His Sins Too!

JESUS PAID FOR HIS SINS TOO!

Jesus didn't only make a sacrifice for our sins, but also for His sins too! Shocking? I know! But just follow me closely so you don't misunderstand me.

A high priest is chosen by God to represent his people, offering their gifts to God and also SACRIFICES FOR THEIR SINS. He is gentle with ignorant and wayward people because he himself is weak. So he offers sacrifices not just for their sins, but his sins also (Hebrews 5:1-4, 7:27). Now we have an Eternal High Priest, Jesus Christ, who also understands our weaknesses, because He has faced all the temptations and sufferings we have faced in the flesh, yet He didn't sin, and He learnt obedience by the things He suffered. So God qualified Him to be a PERFECT High Priest to become the source of our Eternal Salvation (Hebrews  4:14-15, 5:8-9).

So how did Jesus sin in the first place to even pay for His sins? Good question. First payment was that He bought our sins and bore it on the cross. He played the role of High Priest and Lamb at the same time, by offering Himself as a sacrifice for our sins, thereby becoming sin itself after all our sins were transferred to His account. So He had to be charged for our sins which now became His sins. And that's why the Father forsook Him because God cannot behold iniquity! (Isaiah 53:10-12, Habakkuk 1:13, Matthew  27:46, Mark 15:34, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2:24)

Remember, the high priest also offers sacrifice for himself, so Jesus as the High Priest offered sacrifice for His sins too, and also being the Lamb, He laid His own life down. No one has the power to take His life. He is in charge of His life, and He has the power to lay it down and take it up again as He pleases. So Jesus as the Perfect High Priest, laid down His life for us and Himself as the Lamb to be the sin offering (John 10:17-18, John 1:29, 35-36, 1 Peter 1:18-21, Revelation 5:6-14). The wages of sin is death, so Jesus had to die because death is the penalty for sin, and without shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. So Jesus paid with His blood for our sins (and His) to obtain the free gift of God for us, which is Eternal Life (Romans 6:23, Hebrews 9:22).

Jesus paid for the sins of the world including His sins, that's why when He was raised from the dead, He became the firstborn unto Eternal Life! So He experienced Eternal Life first before us who now believe in Him (Romans 8:29-30). But the Ministry of Jesus didn't end at the cross, it still continues at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34). He is a High Priest FOREVER! He's always interceding on our behalf as our Advocate...our ONLY Advocate with the Father (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1). And we know the Father ALWAYS hears the Son! (John 11:41-42). That is why the Sacrifice of Christ ONCE FOR ALL TIME for our sins (and His sins) was pleasing and acceptable to God (Hebrews 10:10). And all who come to God through FAITH in Christ shall be saved to the UTTERMOST (Hebrews 7:25). In Christ, we have forgiveness for ALL our sins! (Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, Hebrews 12:24). God isn't keeping record of our sins because the PERFECT SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ CONSTANTLY washes off our sins FOREVER because Jesus is our High Priest FOREVER pleading on our behalf FOREVER! (2 Corinthians 5:19, Hebrews 7:28, 1 John 2:1).

So in Christ, we have Eternal Salvation, and He has given us a New Life (2 Corinthians 5:17), the very life of God, which is Eternal Life that is at work in us, making us live righteously even as we are righteous by Grace through faith in Christ, not our works or effort (Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 2:11-12). Because of our faith in Christ, Grace has been made available to empower us, giving us EVERYTHING we need to exercise ourselves unto godliness (2 Peter 1:3-9). So no believer in Christ is going to hell. Jesus paid for His sins to be our Advocate, our High Priest FOREVER, and He also paid for our sins for us to have Eternal Life, so we'll be saved FOREVER. If Jesus can NEVER stop being our Advocate, then we who put our faith in Christ can NEVER lose our right standing with God. We can NEVER be condemned. We can NEVER lose our Salvation. God can NEVER stop loving us! He is more than able to keep us from falling away (Romans 8:1, 38-39, Jude 1:24).

The Father is always pleased with the Son, Jesus Christ. That's why no one can ever please God without believing in Christ by faith (Matthew 17:2-5, Luke 3:22, Hebrews 6:11, 2 Peter 1:17). No one who puts their faith in Christ shall be lost. This is because God is FOREVER pleased with the Believer in Christ, because He is FOREVER pleased with Christ!
